Discovering Your Unique Spiritual Path

Orientation without prescription

For some people, midlife brings a question that is not only psychological:

What is this life really all about?

This work offers a grounded space for that enquiry, without imposing a belief system or spiritual identity.

The stance of this work

My approach to spiritual enquiry is:

  • non-prescriptive

  • non-ideological

  • grounded in lived experience

  • respectful of uncertainty

What matters is the gradual development of honesty, discernment, and inner knowing that opens the way to one’s own truth.

This work may resonate with people who:

  • feel spiritually curious but wary of belief systems

  • are questioning long-held assumptions about meaning or purpose

  • sense a deeper enquiry emerging later in life

  • are looking for clarity

The emphasis is on orientation, not attainment.

Boundaries

This work is not:

  • spiritual direction in a religious sense

  • emotional or existential rescue

It remains grounded, reflective, and contained.

It is there to help you discover what is wise and true for you.

Context and structure

If it’s appropriate, a spiritual perspective may form part of the process of mentoring through transition.

Some of my clients choose to explore their spiritual path as a stand-alone process.

Working together

All work is offered online, one-to-one, in time-limited blocks of four sessions at a time.

This approach allows the work to remain focused, reflective, practical and contained.

The first step - a 20-minute exploratory conversation

Before any commitment, I offer an exploratory conversation.

This is a calm, practical discussion — not an assessment or obligation — intended to:

  • clarify what brings you now

  • check whether this way of working fits your situation

  • decide together whether working together feels appropriate

If it is not a good fit, I will say so openly.

Fees

Fees reflect seniority, depth and the finite, contained nature of the work.

The standard fee for each four-session block is £880 (£220 per 50-minute session), payable in advance of the first session.

I also offer a limited number of reduced-fee places, for people who are drawn to this work but cannot reasonably manage the standard fee. The reduced fee is £660 for a four-session block (£165 per session), also payable in advance. If you would like to ask about one of these places, please mention this when booking the exploratory conversation.

Sessions are 50 minutes, held online, and arranged at intervals that suit the work, typically a week to a fortnight apart.

After 35 years of practice, I take on relatively few clients, and the time-limited structure means each block is used carefully.

There is no charge for the initial 20-minute exploratory conversation, and no obligation to continue.
